I am a freelance Japanese to English translator working with manga, video games, lyrics and literature. I studied BA Japanese at the University of Leeds and lived in Tokyo for four years after graduating. I attended the British Centre for Literary Translation Summer School at UEA in 2018. My undergraduate dissertation focused on the issues encountered when translating Japanese linked poetry with application of translation theory. I currently live in London working freelance.
